Professional partnership

Professional partnership is a private company, created by partners in order to work as freelancers in partnership running activity under own name. Professional partnership may be created in order to carry out more than one freelance position, unless the law prohibits this. The articles of association should be made in writing. The partners in professional partnership may be only individuals authorized to carry out freelance positions like: barristers, pharmacists, architects, construction engineers, independent auditors, insurance brokers, tax advisors, investment advisors, accountants, doctors, dentists, veterinary, notaries, nurses, midwives, legal advisors, copyright advocates, assets assessor (appraiser), certified translators. Carrying out freelance job may be related with fulfillment of other requirements described by separate law. There is no minimal start up capital. The name of professional partnership should include at least name of one partner, additional caption “and partner” or ”and partners” or “professional partnership” and name of freelance job carried out in this partnership. In a day-to-day activity it is possible to use abbreviation “sp.p.”. Those captions may be used only by professional partnership. The registration of professional partnership takes place in National Court Register. Once when registered, the company is officially established. The partner does not bear responsibility for liabilities resulting from freelance activity of his partners, as well as for the liabilities of company resulting from actions or forsaking to act by people employed by the company on the basis of agreements, which were under management of other partner.
